"Recerca - Absència" is the first released work by Gaunt, a split alongside ITW that has been created in two separated tracks, each one made by one of them.

Both tracks recorded and mixed by DM Neri and Ser Aorta (Gaunt) in Benicarló and Alicante (Spain), between the months of March and October, 2019.

This song was entirely recorded in two tracks, guitar and drums, and one take each.
The guitar part was entirely played with an old electric toothbrush getting two different sounds, one as an "ebow" the other as a feedback.
The drums part was recorded using a 14" tom and 18" floor tom in a big room, trying to get a decent room reverb.
